Bumper guard & hoop options

Hey all,

I've recently seen threads about the MOPAR and Maximus-3 hoops for our 392's, and in my ignorance I purchased the wrong MOPAR single hoop that I thought would fit my new 392 and it doesn't. So are the MOPAR and Maximus the only options out there that will fit our stock bumpers for now? I believe I read that the Maximus might be slightly larger in diameter than the MOPAR, but are there any other differences? They look very similar. For reference, I was really just going for a simple look since I'll have no winch and won't be mounting lights to the hoops directly. Any help on other options is appreciated!

Hi @drummr25. I purchased the Mopar single hoop, and while I have not installed it yet, it will fit if you purchased the correct part #. Attached are three pictures that may help you:

• One showing the part number on mine
• Another showing a view from the top, and as you can see, the holes line up perfectly; mine is resting on top of the four bolts that will secure it to the bumper
• A third picture showing the height of the hoop, which will end up being approx 0.25in lower as it is resting on top of the bolts as shown.

Nothing unique about the 392 steel bumper. Same bumper is an option on all Rubicons.
