New to the forum. Amazing info here and now I play the crazy waiting game. Ordered 3/19/22 and of course have my VIN. Just curious if there has been an average period of time in which you can see the build sheet. I have read all about the 392 delivery times - so at least I know what to expect which is the unexpected. Hoping to get a bit of insight to numb the upcoming waiting pain.
Going to have to resort to playing a recording of a 392 cold starting in my Tesla. Desperate measures!

I would say 6 months is the number you should give yourself before getting frustrated. Some get them faster and plenty are still waiting longer. Unfortunately there is no rhyme or reason as to who gets built quicker….

we’ve seen some folks order and take delivery in under 2 months. Seems 5 months seems typical anymore. I’m several days past 6 months now and still in D1 (after dropping back to D several weeks back)
And this is after my previous order bounced around until ultimately being cancelled and I started over.
Unfortunately there doesn’t seem to be any particular reasoning for Jeep’s madness.

Wow……I know there has been lots of speculation. Crazy there is no pattern- or it is not made public.
I know those who ordered XRs were having to wait long periods of time, but 6 months seems a bit extreme. If it was any other vehicle I would probably go another route. But……..There is no other vehicle like it.

Yes, it is a special vehicle so worth the wait, especially if you are getting it at MSRP or invoice given what secondary market and dealers are asking for then on the lot.

From what I can tell is that regular 392s are faster than the XR package. It also depends on your dealer's allocation as well. It certainly isn't first in, first out. When I ordered, I told myself it would probably be May before it arrived so setting expectations is the key. Hope for the best, expect the worst.

9 weeks exactly. ordered on the first Saturday of September and took delivery the first Saturday of November.

I ordered in December and still waiting for a build sheet. Got my VIN # 1/27/22
I text my sales guy a bit much. No updates yet. Waiting like a kid the night before Christmas.

My local dealer just took delivery of a 392 that was ordered back in October. Because it was delivered (they are limited to 1 order at a time) I got to order mine today (Gobi color - $1k under MSRP). He said 5-6 months for delivery.

If you order an XR expect to wait, it seems Non-XRs are getting built a hell of a lot faster. I’m hoping to have mine by July, order date: 12/28

Definitely, a crapshoot to say the least. I ordered 1/21 Hydroblue XR with Chapman and apparently, it is built but waiting on shipping. I assume I am a lucky one since it's about 10-11 weeks for the order to built but we shall see how long shipping takes to Philadelphia.

IDK… I think I just got lucky. I also got the last allocated unit from that particular dealer. It was also the 3rd vehicle I bought from that dealer. I doubt paying cash had any influence.

New here but just so you know, dealer allocation does not apply to customer sold orders with FCA. My local dealer tried to play that game with me too so I placed an order last month with Zach and Jackie.
