I recently had an issue where I had to replace the passenger's door and mirror on my Rubicon 392. After replacing the door with one from another Jeep, and buying a new mirror with the blind spot mirror sensor, I now have the blind spot mirror sensor illuminated on the driver's mirror. Has anyone experienced anything like this or can someone point out a solution to fix this? Thanks.

Clean your jeep if it’s really dirty😁

Check the plugs for the mirror connection and the plugs from the door to the jeep, which are particularly fragile when the pins don’t line up.

You could also temporarily swap mirrors (plug in the other mirror or swap mirrors if you have the factory 1/2 doors) and see if the issue persists.

Lastly, take it to the dealer if you still have issues.

So I did a VIN report on the vehicle that I got the passenger door from, and it did not have the Blind Spot and Cross Path Protection option. I may have to pull the harness from the original door and put it in the donor/replacement door...does that sound correct?

Hi @kickingaz,

If you are still experiencing vehicle concerns and decide to visit the dealership, feel free to send our team a private message for an extra layer of support.

It is totally possible that the wiring in the door doesn’t have it… but you do have the correct mirror since it lights up. Did you plug in the rear view mirror to your other door? That will tell you a lot.

Alternatively, call a dealership and see if the wiring harness has a different sku/part number.
