One of the first things I did. The hood is super heavy especially when dealing with it when you have a lift and 37s1100 Miles - Added Redline hood struts. As expected had to cut the passenger side bracket. Used Milwaukee rotary tool. Not too bad it took about 20 min. Added a little touch up paint. Really nice to have these over the prop rod.
you may have gotten me to buy a catch can.2000 Miles - First oil change today. The factory filter was crazy tight. Needed an oil filter wrench to loosen it. Using the SRT 041 to replace it. Also emptied catch can. Was about half full and looked like a latte!!
Honestly went back and forth on buying one. Figured it couldn’t hurt. And while I still don’t know the overall impact to the engines longevity, I’m pretty happy what I emptied didn’t go into the intake manifold.you may have gotten me to buy a catch can.
