Hello All,
There has been quite a few appearance mods done here but little is known about where to procure the badges and decals. What I would like to know for the people who have changed their badges (392 and Jeep) along with their hood decals, where are you getting these items from? Also, how do you remove the badging and decals without messing up the paint? I really hate the gold/bronze color and would like to change mine as well.

Thanks☠️

Oh ya, that's awesome. One more thing, so I take it on the badging that all of you who have the different color other then the red or gold/bronze, hand paint them?

Thanks ☠️

I'm not trying to change your mind but once I took the gold tow hooks off I came to like the bronze in the trim. Depends on what color you have. I think if I had a red 392 for example, there would be no bronze left on it.

Another shop that’s very active within the Jeep community is:

If you don’t see what you want, don’t hesitate to use the custom request on their site. They’ve made me some custom 392 style decals. Very responsive and reasonably priced!

Thank you guys very much. Mine is black and I’d like to black everything out to where you would have to look real close to notice any badging or decals.
My wife JL is silver and plan to subtly pink-out her badge and decals out-lines as well.

Now how about removing the badges and decals? Any one have a process for that with out messing up the paint?

Thanks☠️

The 392 badges on the hood have studs and will leave holes. My plan had been to remove them, black them out and reinstall so there would not be holes in the hood.

A little heat will help with stickers on hood etc. Heat gun carefully on low or hair dryer. I removed my unlimited decals with a heat gun on low and once heated up got them started with my fingernail and peeled. There will be some residue to clean up with Googone.

Use some fishing line or dental floss to break the seal behind the trail rated badge but I don't know if there will be a dimple or a hole exposed there.
