My mechanic thinks we should attach the new steering stabilizer to the drag link on the right hand side and the track bar mounting location on the left-hand side or passenger side. I’ve always seen them installed on the Tie rod, but he thinks this will work better for clearance and provide the same dampening characteristics. Has anyone seen it installed like this before? Do you think it would be OK?

Lots of other rigs do it that way. As long as everything clears, it should work fine.
