Asking DALL-E 2 to generate 392 images, pretty impressive!

OK if you're a nerd, maybe you've heard of DALL-E 2. Maybe you didn't sit on the waiting list for months for access. But I did! Figured I'd share these, cause it's such a rad technology.

Considering the 392 is a new vehicle and DALL-E can only pull from what exists on the internet, I can forgive the creative license. Still, pretty dang incredible that these images have never existed and were created entirely by an artificial intelligence!

I only get 50 renders per day, but if anyone has any ideas I might be able to give them a shot! Fire away!

This is pretty cool and I’ve never heard about this! I’m not a fan of any sorta AI stuff or applications. But I do like those rendered images of Jeep 392 and really hope their API would be able to web crawl and index all the real 392 pictures from this forum and generate something closer to the real 392 features or maybe even XR details.

Wish they have a open search bar that everyone can give it a try.

Looks to me that all the images are of JKs, thoughts?

They are rolling it out slowly, but lately have confirmed that soon it will be available to everyone to try. It's just been super popular and made a lot of news, so their servers (and compute power) can't handle everyone jumping in all at once! I'm really excited to see how far they can take the tech.

They're certainly all very <generic jeep> images. The algorithm is REALLY insane at generating wild and unique stuff, but not so great at differentiating super-fine detail stuff... yet. Pretty insane what it can do though.

My silly jeep prompts don't even scratch the surface of what it can do!

It's pretty funny what words you change and how they affect its output!

I'm sure someone smarter than I am can explain how and why it does what it does :geek:

I'm fond of the photo associated with your profile, the claymation generated images aren't doing you any justice:ROFLMAO:

That is absolutely insane that they can write an AI to do stuff like that. They have a supercomputer "Frontier" that can perform over 1 exaflops (quintillion floating point operations/sec). They said that it could do something like 40 million operations per second for each of the 25 trillion neural connections in the brain (or something like that). Stuff like that is hard for the human mind to wrap around.

Thanks for sharing this....super cool. Just hope one of these things doesn't go all skynet and stuff on us one day.....

Looks like a pretty neat application. For those of us non-nerds -you can use an AI site called Deep Dream Generator. It's free (limited to so many pictures a day) and uses your photo mixed with either premade templates or your own custom ones. Got a quick chance to make a Jeep one before bed using stock Jeep site photo (shhh).
