Artec Tire Delete Kit

Has anyone installed the Artec Tire Delete Kit and if so, have you had any issues with the backup camera? When I put the backup camera in the new bracket it stopped working, now I get the Blue Screen of Death in reverse Which says “Camera System Unavailable”. I have been told that there is a wire problem, a camera problem and try to disconnect the battery, that may fix it. Called Jeep Wave today and they had no idea how to fix it, there answer was to make an appt. At a dealer. There must be a simple solution out there??? I have a 2022.

Just watched the video from Artec on the installation of the delete kit (I'm thinking of doing this as well). Is it possible you may have compromised a wire causing a short. When I watched the video it looks like there is no additional wiring from Artec to install, so the camera should just hook right back up. If it's not a wiring issue, have you checked to make sure the connection is seated on the back of the camera. I realize all of these are obvious solutions, but sometimes it's the simplest thing.

I stopped at a dealer and they told me it was a wire but I checked and found nothing. And, yes, it is just a plug and unplug. I took it completely apart trying the camera outside of the bracket and still, nothing. Artec told me to disconnect the battery. Tomorrow I plan on taking off the back door inner panel to see if I pulled a wire loose. In the video they recommend you rest it on a cart to disassemble it. I did not and by it just hanging there, it may have pulled something loose. And it looks great!
