Hi all - first post her so be nice please. I went into my local Jeep dealership here in Winston Salem Wednesday to order my 392 and after going through the full process with the sales rep, he passed it on to the inventory manager to place the order. After about 1inute wait, the rep came over and apologized that they weren’t able to place the order due to allotment issues. He actually advised I go to Kernersville dealership as they typically don’t have this problem.

I called over there and told them what happened and they said yes, absolutely we can. As I started my drive there, I received a text from a rep at Kernersville saying, “Sorry Sean, but we also can’t place the order. In fact, we have been shut down from all 392 orders. Sorry for the inconvenience”. I then tried the largest Jeep dealership in Charlotte, same response. Any idea what gives?

That’s the rumor… 2022 392’s cannot be ordered at the moment. No one has seen anything official but numerous dealerships are reporting the same.

Welcome.

Unfortunately, yes it seems they are closed for MY 22 at least for now. I doubt if they’ll open back up for 22, but who knows?

I got an order in on April 27th. I use a large dealership. I sent them an email last week thanking them for apparently getting my order in in the nick of time. In the email back, my sales rep told me order banks shut down the afternoon of Friday April 29th.

One idea is supply chain issues. Another is that Jeep has an overall EPA they have to meet in sum of all the vehicles they sell and they met that quota and can’t sell any other guzzlers. Another is they just had a predetermined quota that they met at the end of April.

My dealer told me 2023 order banks MIGHT open in June.

If they open in June will the 23 get the front burnout mode? Might be worth the wait if you can wait.

We've been through alot, you and I, Yukon. Thank goodness we have, or will soon have our Jeeps. I'm keeping this thing forever!
