So... I ordered a 392 back on November 25th, it's close to completion and I'm not going to take delivery. Feels like a pretty good price I could pass along to someone. MSRP is 87k ish, and I've got it at 76.5k. Not sure how we could make it work with the dealer, but I'd be up for trying to get someone in it and not have to wait so long. According to dealer, it's close to completion, had a ship date of 3/15 - real close but nobody really knows or has any confidence on delivery. I have not heard from them as of yet. I’m here in San Antonio… both dealers are local, the one that screwed my over on the initial order is one of the largest. One who currently has my order I’ve purchased from in the past and they’ve always been really good to work with, but I don’t believe they can get any more info from Jeep than I can.

you cant just transfer the order . To get price protection, sold to and order by names should match. If you dont want it , dealer will sell it to someone at an ADM. Being XR he can easilly get 90k to close to 100k
Heck you can make quick 10k by selling it to carmax or a local dealer. You need to take ownership and have a title in your name tho

I have learned this Jeep 392 builds are top secret. No one is willing to give any information good or bad.

You can definitely transfer the order, but it depends on whether the dealer is willing to let you. I just transferred my order to another forum member without any issue, and the 4% below invoice price I had was also honored for the new buyer.

"price protection" wont apply to the new buyer. There was an increase in January. Yes, other than that is up to the dealer. Even at MSRP is a good deal being an XR but at the same time dealer knows it as well...
