I have my sight on the Roam stainless steel rock rails: https://www.roamoffroad.com/product...liders-jl-frame-mounted-316l-stainless-steel/ Not sure if it's a good idea.

I could only find some pics posted at the JLWrangler forum: https://www.roamoffroad.com/product...liders-jl-frame-mounted-316l-stainless-steel/ this set is the MK3. It's almost triple the cost of their black powder coated version: https://www.roamoffroad.com/product/roam-jl-rock-rails-jeep-wrangler-jl-rock-sliders/

My 392 XR is black, not sure if the stainless steel rails would look good. I like their design and I plan to wire the step lights as well.

Any comments or insights are appreciated.

I had the Steel version on my 2019 Rubicon. They rusted very badly under the power cost. No scratches, the paint just started bubbling. I noticed one spot and within a month it was everywhere. The paint came off the brackets in big sheets. I’m really disappointed they only lasted 2 years.

I liked them - but I wouldn’t buy steel again. Might consider buying the stainless and getting it powder coated - but that gets expensive.

Sorry to hear the rust, that's really bad. Thanks for the feedback and I'll stick with the Rubi rails for now.
