I’m thinking about 37” KO2’s and a 2” bump stop in the rear.

Any regrets on braking or steering with your 37’s on the street ?

I am really only the fence of tossing 37's on with stock suspension, was hoping to see some comments. Seeing no responses I am hoping everyone is happy with stock set up on 37's

Maybe this thread will help.

KO2’s are a wonderful tire for a Jeep that will see occasional off road use. They are lightweight, reasonably quiet on the road, they perform really well in the snow. They also run smaller than their stated size, as many tires do, so your 392 will be completely fine without adding more bump.

For reference, my wife’s 392 is on the left. She’s on 37” Cooper STT Pros, KMC Machete Beadlocks, and will slightly rub if we took it off-road… but not enough to cause any damage.

IMHO, added bump is only needed if you’re running a true-to-size 37” tire, such as a Nitto, or some goofy offset on your wheel, and you’re actually going off-road. You’ll never have a problem if you stick to the streets 😉

Absolutely. There's a lot of complete BS on YouTube and social media on this topic and it is difficult to determine fact from fiction. Just remember a few simple rules:
  1. Post pictures or it didn't happen
  2. Influencers get paid to sell stuff
  3. Hiking sucks... so never off-road alone because stuff will break and you will eventually get stuck

I just put 37" KO 2's with Fuel wheels on. No rubbing at all and drives great.

I think there is no issue with the tire size. Its the fact that the stock suspension (mine was the XR package) is terrible unless you like riding the bump stops as soon as the pavement ends

What offset?
I did as much research as possible to find what offset/backspace was needed not to scrape. These are the wheels I chose: https://www.fueloffroad.com/wheel/13484/fuel-1-piece-wheels-kicker-5-d699/?finishID=4365&lugs=5
They have an offset of -12 with a backspace of 4.53". I also chose a 12.5" KO2 as opposed to a 13.5". I did this to ensure there would be no rubbing. I probably could have used the 13.5" wide tire but in the end, it really doesn't matter. Hope this helps.

Thanks. I have -12 offset wheels on order with the same tires.

I want 13.5 but you cant get them in C rated tires and I prefer my jeep not to ride like my Ram diesel 😬

Bit the bullet and ordered 37” KO2’s and a 2” rear bump stop.

I wonder what a set of 5 35” KO2’s are worth with 1,400 miles and zero off road time ???

No issues on mine, 37 inch BFG MT tires. I don’t have any rubbing or issues with these…
I like the added height but as many say these are not a true 37” tire and you save about 50lbs on tires from the same size Nitto…

Do you have some for sale?

When the dealership pulls them off next Friday they will be for sale then. 1434 miles as of today. Plus new spare. Zero flats. I’ should wait and post them with pictures, etc in the proper forum next Friday. PM me with any questions. Thanks !
