Can anyone tell me what size fuse they use? Bought a used 392 and realized I have power steps that don’t work. Checked the fuse and it is missing. Hoping they pulled it for some other reason than the steps being inoperable. Can’t find anywhere online where it tells me either. :(

I assume you are talking about the fuse to battery that powers the steps correct? If so, it’s a 20 amp that came with mine. I didn’t use it though I powered mine thru aux switches so I could turn them off when I needed it.
Hope that helps!

Yep that’s the fuse , thanks! I was guessing 30a so glad I asked. You bring up a good point though….I’ll check the aux switches if the fuse alone doesn’t do the trick. After that, it’s off to someone who installs these things for a living to check them out since I’m not savvy enough to figure it out on my own.

Thanks @392Stinger . One 20a fuse and they worked! I would have never put power ones on if I were buying them new (mostly because of the cost vs functionality) but I sure as heck ain’t complaining or taking them off!

Awesome…. If you are an off roader, I would suggest wiring to to aux switch so you can turn them off when needed. The harness is right by the battery and easy to change if you ever need it. Congrats!

Thanks. I don’t really off road, but still may do it just in case I ever need to disable them for some reason. Appreciate the assist!
