Curious how many of us are running upgraded driveshafts or have just done warranty replacements when failures happen?

Anyone have any issues with their OEM driveshafts? @JeepCares (there's no efficiency with our local Jeep dealer and we rather not have sit in their lot and risk getting stolen for days so we may just swap it ourselves and get Jeep to cover the replacement?).

I'm running Adams front and rear... The boot on the front shredded last year and since they are not serviceable, I upgraded to Adam's then. Couldn't be happier..... 🍻

Legit same issue now with the front, how many miles did you get out of the OEM one?

I've been running Adams 1350 on the front for 3 years, smooth no vibration. Just installed Adams 1350 in rear after kissing a rock. No vibration and the "flat zerk" is very easy to reach as opposed to the front driveshaft, which is not. Consider a tazer to turn off front shaft.

I am not sure what you mean by a Tazer to turn off the front shaft. Unless the front axle is a FAD (which no 392 has) the front shaft is always turning, whether in 2WD or 4 auto. The only way to keep a front driveshaft from spinning is with locking hubs or a FAD.

FWIW my shaft is a Woodie. :)

I added the FAD to my 392 & hooked it to a toggle switch. Pretty simple install.

It's my understanding that the Tazer disconnects the front driveshaft from the transfer case, so yes it is still spinning, but not under load so in theory it doesn't need lube as often.
