Curious, though I have tried a number of times (using some procedures posted up on the web) I have not been able to add a gauge shortcut to my Uconnect5, I have the pitch and roll screen option but not the offroad page.

Also, if you press the Home button what do you have displayed on that screen? I have had a few issues with my Uconnect5, ie Gauges that dissapear, and the Home screen button that gives me a screen with not much more then a plus in the middle and that's it. A soft reset got the other gauges back but I still have the home screen and not being able to create a gauge shortcut.

FYI, when I reset my head unit, it took a few days/starts to get all the functions back. Not sure if a shortcut for the gauges is even possible since it's in the off-road pages.

This was a procedure that is suppose to work but it doesn't at least for me:

To add a shortcut for Off-Road Pages to your Uconnect 5 home screen, you will need to customize the widgets. The process involves
editing a home page layout and dragging the Off-Road Pages app onto the shortcut widget.

Add the Off-Road Pages shortcut

  1. On the Uconnect 5 home screen, swipe left to find an available page or a page you want to edit.
  2. Press the "Edit" or "Add Widget" button at the top of the page.
  3. Choose a new page layout or select an existing one to edit.
  4. If a "Shortcuts" widget is not present, add it to one of the sections.
  5. In the "Shortcuts" widget, tap one of the empty slots with a "+" sign.
  6. Scroll through the list of available apps and select "Off-Road Pages." This will place the shortcut in the widget.
  7. Once finished, tap the "Done" button to save the changes.
Troubleshooting: Off-Road Pages is missing

If the "Off-Road Pages" app is not available to add as a shortcut, it may have temporarily disappeared due to a software issue or a connectivity problem.

First, restart the Uconnect system:

  • Press and hold the Volume/Power and Tuner knobs simultaneously for about 10–15 seconds.
  • The screen will go black and then display the Uconnect logo as it reboots. This will not erase your saved settings.
If the app is still missing, check your subscriptions and connectivity:

  • In some vehicles, the Off-Road Pages feature requires verification with the "Connected Services" provided through your Uconnect account.
  • If your cellular service is weak, it can cause the feature to be "killed" by the system. The app icon will often reappear after the vehicle has had good cellular reception and completed a system check.
  • Ensure any subscription to an enhanced service like Off-Road Pages+ is still active, if applicable to your vehicle.

Well after reading your post CED392 I decided to do a full head reset and let it boot back up, after adding all my stuff back in and get a refresh signal Sirius everything was back online, I went back and re-completed the above procedure, I now have the offroad page/gauge on the list, I simply hit home then the offroad shortcut and bingo gauges!

You gotta laugh, It reminds me of the old day when I use to fix my old windows 95 computers with reboots. I guess we all need a master reset button on our Jeeps!
