Was wondering if anyones had an issue with the ACC or cruise control taking a dump on you? Been working fine but a couple of weeks ago I had a Warn winch installed and of course they took apart a few pieces of the bumper to install it. Not sure if the sensors for the Adaptive Cruise or standard cruise control is built into the bumper assembly or the rear view mirror. If anyone has had any experience with this please chime in. Thanks a bunch

Forward collision alert/adaptive cruise control sensors are usually build into the rearview mirror/windshield area. I dont have a Jeep right now to confirm but I would bet money the only wiring going to the bumper is for fog lights (and now for your winch).

That's correct. Having taken my front bumper off a few times, the only wires to disconnect are for the fog lights. Everything is in the mirror.

Yeah that donned on me after I posted this question. This is the 4th or maybe the 5th vehicle I've owned with ACC and I had forgotten about that feature being built into the rearview. Ok then. So it's not the bumper or due to the winch install. Thanks for your response guys

I’ve had the same issue. Happens when I get too spirited, off-road, and my steering wheel gets a little off-centered. 15mm wrench and a few turns to straighten your wheel, and you’ll be back in business.

Stupid computers 😜
