A walk-around of my new 392

Here's a quick video of the 392 I just took delivery of from a local Chicagoland dealer. Happy to answer any questions. Be gentle - my first vlog post.

606Rubi392,
Nice job on the first video. It is amazing that they had one in stock!

Thanks for the video! Good job
Mine has been shipped for about 10 days now. Hope to see it soon

Excellent job on the video! Thanks for taking the time to make that and post it!

Thank you for the video! Very informative! Interesting that the rear storage area is reduced in size on this model. I just ordered a storage tub liner for a 2021 Wrangler but the information provided in the video let's me know it won't fit. Let me check on returning it.

Very much appreciate the walk around. Let’s us know how you like the paddle shifter once you’ve played with it. My question is around sky touch top, which I have ordered. Is the headliner really needed to cut down on road noise?
Thx

The headliner is only for the hard top. I have them now on my JK, and they do work for sure and look great.

Yes I have those also in my JK but hotheads makes a headliner for sky touch which he referenced keeping from trade in JL. I’m curious if it’s a necessity. Thx

The road noise isn’t bad but my experience with the one-touch headliner is that it makes using the hands free phone much better.

Hey there Brother,
Nice vid, just curious what they give you for your trade. I’ve got a 2019 JL Rubi that I’m trading in as well...

Can you explain why having the one-touch headliner makes using the hands-free phone better?

The headliner is made from two sheets of material that supposedly deaden the road noise coming from the roof. It also claims to provide insulation in cold weather - I haven't really noticed if this claim is true. While I haven't noticed a tremendous reduction in noise by installing this, it is without a doubt easier to speak on the phone with the handsfree. I don't have to speak as loud and the other call participants can hear me more clearly. I suppose this means that the hands-free mic is more sensitive to the sound deadening qualities of the liner than my own ears are.

Awesome car, it looks really good! Where did you get your stubby antenna from? I like the look, good job!
