2024 Jeep 392
Hey everyone!
Just wanted to drop in and say hello. I recently picked up a black 2024 Jeep Wrangler 392 and I’m absolutely loving it! I previously owned a 4xe, but the 392 is on a whole different level — the power and sound are just addictive.
My first mod was a jump to 37" tires, actually stolen from my 4xe :). I'm waiting for the MC Game Changer 3.5" lift.
Looking forward to learning from the community and sharing the journey with this awesome rig.

Welcome to the forum, there is a lot of good information out here. I was looking to trade my Gladiator Rubicon diesel for a new 4xe, but then I saw the '22 CPO 392 and there was no question what I would do.

How do you find the acceleration at like 50mpg to 90mpg? Like for highway passing? I have a rental 4xe while waiting on my 392 to arrive in a week or two. It seems the acceleration from like 0-60 is similar to the 4xe, but I don’t get to really open it up on the test drive.

I bet the only thing I’ll miss about the 4xe is the 17mpg

0-60 times (multiple resources)
4xe = 5.6 sec
392XR = 4.0 sec

I rented a 4xe for a week just before picking up my 23 392XR. There’s no comparison.

Welcome! 🍻

I agree with Ten4Jeep—there's really no comparison. It's not just about the speed; the feeling you get with the 392 is on a whole different level. I've even caught myself overtaking on the highway, and I'm not even in a rush!

Welcome! I went from a 4XE to a 2024 392 as well. I honestly don't think the 392 feels much faster than the 4XE, but the stars had to be aligned for the 4XE to feel fast. Can't compare the sounds, that's for sure.

The 4xe is undoubtedly a capable vehicle. It offers impressive pickup when fully charged, but I found the 2-liter engine underwhelming.

Awesome. I'm currently negotiation a trade for my 4xe for the moab as well. Why does Edmunds give the 392 such a low score? A 5.5? My 2024 Shara gets a 7.9. I'm just curious.

They gave the FE 392 a lower score because of its “niche appeal” aka price tag over the other ones. I honestly wouldn’t care what Edmunds thinks… especially with the Moab being a far better value.
