392 Xtreme Recon Bronze Color Question

I ordered a 392 Rubicon with the xtreme recon package and it is in D. Status. Went with black because the bright bronze rims on the configurator really set it off (imho). I think the regular (darker, non recon) rims look best with blue.

So question is, how bright are the recon rims? They look super bright and go great with the black on the configuator and look ok in the pics at the bottom of the page (but not as bright). I know they won't be as shiny bright at the top of the page on the configurator, but don't want them to be dull either. Want them to "pop."

Ridiculous I know, but does anyone have any real pictures of the 17x8 Bronze rims that come on the 392 Xtreme recon?

Thanks....super stoked about the 392. It checks a lot of boxes for me . Hopefully they won't come out with an aftermarket supercharger anytime soon to tempt me .

Might want to check out the YouTube video from the recent Chicago Auto Show where the 392 XR was introduced. The walkaround shows the XR wheels which seem more black than bronze.

I saw those, but hoping those are not the final wheels. Configurator shows much more bronze color. Worse case, I'll have to get new rims.

I can tell you that my current stock 392 rim`s are hardly bronze tinted in my opinion. I do have a 392 Recon Rubicon on order and the rim color is closer to what a lot of guys are running on their Ford Raptors. A Raptor site is a great place to get somewhat of an idea of how the bronze looks with different colored vehicles, come to think of it the Subaru race sites lean towards bronze wheels too. I left my Raptor wheels stock

I have a Black 392… the rings and wheels are more of a matte finish.

If you wish to see exactly what the finish is?… Reece Towpower Tactical hitch. It’s a perfect match. It’s more of a satin sheen.

Yours looks better than the pics in the configurator. I like the little bit lighter colored wheels with black. Hoping the recon wheels are even more shiny and bronze colored. They are in the configurator, but time will tell.

My XR is still in limbo, with movement expected soon.

This is pretty much all that I have seen and judging by the second photo they don't go flat when they come off the rim and that has to cost more LOL
I guess you shouldn't believe everything you see on the net!!!

ICON has been a big supplier in the Raptor world, from suspension to wheels and great advice.

I would describe my current 392 wheels as more of a Tungsten and not a bronze and you can compare the 2 on ICON`S site along with some other sites. My Tow hooks are nowhere near the same color as my wheels, but they look real close as to what Jeep has on their site

BFG`s site allows you to build your Jeep in your color and with a lot of mods if you like and change the wheels to your liking also. There are quite a few sites that you can do that on

I have ordered mine in Black with ER package. its been a month and No build status yet. I cant wait to see how it looks in real life. please share your pictures when you receive it.
