392 String Gray stock 2022

Hello 392 Families,

We are waiting on delivery of a 392 that we decided to purchase. We didn't order it. It was a deal that fell through from another owner and this new 2022 happens to be on the way to our Jeep dealer near our area. We own a Beautiful White JLUR 2018. That one we were able to do the Build Order on. I was not a big Fan of the String Gray at first, I wanted to go from my White to Red.. But if we do that, I would have to spend $10K over MSRP. No thanks, I'll pass and enjoy the Sting Gray Skytouch . Here is my dilemma... I like big flashy Wheels. I have Hostile Sprockets on my White JLUR 37' Nitto AT- 13.50 20x12. My Jeep I feel rides rough. I feel everything in the road if the road is not straight. I do have 2 1/2 in Fox Lift Kit. i was thinking maybe try the BFG in a 35 or 37 for a smoother ride...

The new 392. We are not in a hurry to lift it.. But Which Tires and Wheels do we go stick with Nitto or Switch to TOYO? What wheel color matches the Sting Gray Color, If I choose not to pick Bronze, can another "COLOR" be chosen, or do I need to stick with Black and Milled? I didn't want to change the Bronze Hook colors to color match the Wheels, I feel that would take away from viewers seeing it as a Bad Ass 392.. ahah. We have been watching Custom Offsets, that is how I found my Hostile Wheels. Love the design, Sprocket.. 20x12 37's 13.50 But am wheeling to change with a new design for the 392 Sting Gary.. We learned about TIS 544 Design.. and Fuel Rage D713/Contra D714... is Hostile a better brand..

Tire Brand and Size- TOYO or Stick with Nitto 35's 12.50 20x10 37's 12.50 or 13.50 on 20x10 or 20x12.

Please Show your STING GRAY Wheels . and any Color Mods. The only place we were considering adding color was on the Wheels..

You can definitely see the color better in the Bronze then in the black. Which size Rims and Tires/ Brand of tire do you have ?

I prefer muted vs flashy.
Also, Toyo makes the Nitto tires. Either way, very similar quality. The Nitto was initially developed with racing. The tires are a bit heavier than Toyo.

As for ride “quality”, it’s all coming down to springs, shocks and relative to rim size, sidewall height, load range of the tires, tire pressure, etc.

Still wanders when it catches an off camber on the road. Inherent of a solid axle set up.

The bronze wheels looking really sharp! Great choice!
