When anyone hears about a lift kit for the 392, please do tell.

I had a Metal Cloak lift on my 2019 with 37's and the only thing I don't like about the 392 is how short she is.

Metal Cloak is starting R&D this week on a 392 lift but was wondering if anyone else has caught wind about other manufacturers putting out a lift.

@Shockerracing has a video in which he installs 35s, 37s, and 40s. Doesn't look like we need a lift to fit 37s. It would be interesting to see if the 392 Rubicon is still shorter than your other Jeep once you put 37s on it.

Good point. I did see that video. Some big tires can definitely be stuffed under those fenders but it looks a little squatty. I prefer a little more clearance as in photo. And that would be interesting to see where it sits with 37's without a lift. Most likely that is what I am going to find out once I figure out which 37's to put under there. I didn't like the ridge grapplers as they were super heavy and affected the ride.

Metal cloak is my place...I would only buy lifts from them and their fender flares are awesome too!

3.5" gamechanger lift kit by metal Cloak hahaha that's what I want for my 392 eventually

Yes the lift will be great when it comes out. This video shows a regular JL next to the stock 392 and the 392 is higher even with 35's on the other JL.

My photos with 37's and a 3.5" metal cloak lift is quite a bit higher than the stock 392. And I can really tell getting in and out of the 392. It is much shorter that what I am used to. I am going to attempt to put 37's on the stock suspension and stock wheels and see how that turns out.

Trust me Jeep knows what they did to this Jeep 392 cuz too many people buying them are critical of the mechanics cuz we all like to tinker with them lol

The tires and the lift are areas of improvement from what I've heard from people who got them already? And I can live with those two things being done later when I pay this beast off lol

I could only watch that guy go thru his car to about the halfway point because I honestly don't wanna ruin all the cool features for myself yet lol

The engine and exhaust is all I need from this car lol like thats the best part...I'm just gonna be driving that car religiously when I get, if I get it lol

Agreed. The engine and exhaust are cool, almost as cool as what they allow this jeep to do....which is leave most cars in a cloud of your dust with a simple 'flick' of your foot. The acceleration is impressive.

Hahahahahaha yes! Why wasn't this car built 5 years ago even, I've been complaining about no v8 like everyone else here for a while now lol

I have literally been telling everyone the same thing.

My question is 'which bozo executive at Jeep didn't green light this project a long time ago?'

People drive Jeeps because they are fun. 470 hp is FUN!

Dude you said it so perfectly right there! And of course they wait til a pandemic to create more chaos over a car that already has a cult following to begin with! Lol

This whole pandemic got me like feeling behind on everything, I also like ran out and refinanced my house, which led to looking at this car etc...like I just always feel like I'm playing catch up even more now than prior to the pandemic lol

I am now running the 37x12.5.17 Ridge Grapplers on the stock wheels, they do rub a little at full turn but have been great on the street. I should have a video up soon, I just want to get a chance to be able to flex it out with these tires on. Also, I am still waiting on the Rusty's Tire Carrier so that I can fit the 37" on the back.

How does the drive feel with 37s? Any significant loss of power?

I wouldn’t say a significant loss of power. You can definitely tell there is a slight difference, but it’s not as bad as we expected.

How do those ride as far as how soft the ride is compared to the original tires?

My previous 2019 jeep on 37's and the metal cloak lift was really jittery on the ride. I loved the way it looked but the ride was not near as enjoyable as the stock 392.

I am in the process of trying to figure out what tires to purchase. I definitely want them on the stock rims, I like the stock rims.

I was concerned about the loss of power with the 37's. Surprised to hear it is not as bad as you thought.

I planned to change the gears to reduce the loss of power.
