Now that I've had the beast for a few days I'm thinking about 37's. Since I can't get the lift installed for about 3 weeks at best, I'm wondering if anyone have tried 37's on something like 17x9 wheels with about 4.5 bs. In particular I'd like to know how it handles off-road in moderate rocks....I realize the articulation will not be as good as a 3.5" lift.....it's mainly extreme rubbing I'm worried about....Thoughts anyone?

I have 37in KO2s and only added Teraflex 1.75" wheel spacers to offset the 6" oem BS, net 4.25 bs. No rubbing on street and very lite rubbing in the rear driver side. No rubbing on the front off road with the wheel spacers. With as much space I have up front full lock turn, I would estimate 4.5bs would be fine without a lift on pavement.

Ha, I’ve been waiting for 3+ months for my lift… and I’m still waiting. Moderate wheeling is okay but I flexed off one of my rear fenders about 4 weeks ago.

3.5” of lift and 3.5” of backspacing are typical specs for running 37”. Spacers or bump stops are a few ways you can get around this if you don’t want to wait. Options are limitless.

I would go to the lift kit company that you are going to purchase and see what they recommend. For example MetalCloak recommends the following: If using OE wheels 2" spacers will be needed to give proper clearance. These mounts are intended for use for wheels with 4.5" of backspacing or less or an equivalent of a 2" spacer on factory wheels. I went with the ICON Rebound Pro because of the maintenance free beadlock system. They are 17x8.5 -6mm 4.5BS. Picture is with 37" BFG KM3's. Metalcloak 3.5 Game Changer Lift going on shortly. Drivable on the street just no
off-roading until lifted.
