37" Tire on Stock Door

My 392 is riding the rails and should be arriving soon. My original plan was to replace the stock rear bumper with a bumper tire carrier combination that works in conjunction with the rear door. For that reason I didn't go with the hinge re-enforcement package. Since the bumper and tire carrier I was thinking of getting is out of stock and has quite a lead time, I'm wondering if anyone has successfully hung a 37x 12.5 x17 tire with after market wheel on the stock spare tire carrier. If it's possible, I will temporarily run it this way until the new bumper is available.

Not able to go on stock carrier, but you can upgrade to the mopar version. I am running 37x13.5 with Fuel Maverick 20x12. The issue is the stock carrier is not high enough and will not allow the tire to fit above the bumper. Basically the upgraded one just moves it up some, but you do need the hinge gate reinforcement as well (imho). Congrats on 392 in route.

I will find out in the morning, the spare won't fit until I get the rear carrier and bumper installed. Putting on AEV Borah wheels with Firestone MT2'S 37x12.5 on the AEV rear bumper and tire carrier. I have those on other jeeps and love them. Also the 10.2 gal gas can helps too.
