2023 order

Anyone that ordered a 23 get any info on there order yet?All I got from Jeep chat is passed edit.Any idea what that means?Heck when I ordered my trx I had a vin quick.Only thing Mydealer gave me so far is a von

Mine went in on Saturday and a VON is all I have as well. When I ordered earlier in the year I checked with Jeep chat three business days later and I had a VIN. I could have had one earlier. I don't know. I was going to contact them Wednesday to see if I have a VIN then.

same here Rubicon, but due to order banks just opening I assume there will be a bit of wait as they are finishing up the 2022 model year runs...

I went D to D1 pretty quickly on my TRX and GC L but the trackhawk (which i still have) did take some time due to being ordered the first day possible back in 2017.

I went into the jeep.com website / owners section / down on left you can now track your order (only need your last name and VON) but seems due to early start up on 2023's it says come back later. Makes me concerned but my dealer is solid and I've ordered more than a few cars over the years.

Good luck and hopefully they cue up those D1's real soon!

The dealer should have the VIN and VON the next day they entered the order. You should also ask for the POC (Priced Order Confirmation) that shows the selected build options and cost breakdown. It also shows as sold order with initial status and build priority.

They sent me the VON the day they ordered it. I guess that means I would have a VIN today. They didn't send me one last time, I had to check with Jeep Chat.

As I understand it, while dealerships get allocations, I don't think our custom orders take away from those allocations. Thus, if a dealership gets 2 allocations, they could sell 12 392s as long as 10 people put in custom orders (in addition to their 2 allocations).

And yes, there were rumblings going on about a month ago or so that the 2023 model year would start early...not unheard of. My 2019 BMW 4 series was built in March of 2018.

Any dealer should be able to order. The banks opened up last week. If you want to order give your dealer a call.

I tryed that Jeep tracker .But get no info available on your order .so I.guess for updates I’ll have to go thru Jeep chat

Quick update: I emailed my dealer. He told me that because it's the new model year, Jeep won't be generating VINs on them for a few weeks. I guess since the 2023 banks opened so early this year, they're not assigning VINs yet.

Jeep chat said "nothing yet and check back in a week or two".

Looks like we're in for a long wait ahead, kids.

Yep, I think so too.

Once we get D or D1 with VIN the tracker should work. There was a cool video on Susquehanna Automotive showing how to use it, and what it looks like in different stages.

Thanks for the reply. Ordered mine on 6/11 and got VON right away, no VIN yet. Good to see they are assigning VIN's at this point. Last I saw 23 production was supposed to start mid-July, but who knows.
