Like probably at least a few others on here, I am tossing around the idea of ordering a ‘23 392 XR or possibly waiting to see what options the 20th Anniversary edition Rubicon has. I’m not looking to make a profit, but to possibly get some features that I didn’t get on my ‘21 XR, and primarily a different color.
Just so I have things straight in my mind, I am hoping that you guys (and gals) can help me to nail a few things down…
Comparing apples to apples (non-XR to non-XR, and XR to XR), my understanding is that the only two significant differences between a ‘21 and a ‘22 are the seats and the dash graphics at start up. Obviously a model year ‘22 may hold a greater value because it is a newer model, but from a practical mechanical standpoint, are these the only two physical differences between those two model years?
After touching base with my dealer, it appears that the Gorilla glass is not an option for the ‘23 model year, although otherwise it does not appear that there are any other significant differences between the ‘22 and the ‘23 model years as far as selectable options. On the public Jeep “build” site, it does still allow you to select Gobi, which my dealer says is actually not an option at this time.
Anyone know of any other differences between the ‘22’s and ‘23’s that are public knowledge at this point?
