2023 392 XR went D1 with build date

Dealer texted me today, and said I'm D1 with build date of 9/5 for my 2023 392 XR, we'll see.... also got another yellow bar in my owner update (see below)

Anyone else see movement on their '23's?

Also asked about 20A, no official word yet but each month when they get allocations they get a chance for new information ....nothing yet.

One last thing, GCM seems not to be available in any trim type, dealer tried to build Sahara with matching top and no dice...sucks I was hoping to shift my Sarge to GCM but no biggie (My Trackhawk and TRX are both Granite Crystal). Seems it could be more of a quality issue at this point vs. keeping for 20A...anyone have any additional info?

I ordered mine July 2nd and GCM and gorilla glass were both greyed-out options on the dealer’s build screen.

my dealer says i’m D1 with build date of 8/17 on my 23 sarge green XR…I’ll believe it when i see it. Original order was 2/7 and converted 6/2 to MY23. Jee tracker shows two bars on mine as well

Might be why the new orders are pushed out to September, maybe jeep is building the ones that converted from ‘22 and been waiting….good luck

This great to hear! My 2023 392 order was confirmed June 9 but still no update on the order tracking page. Hopefully it'll be scheduled soon!

Well that's encouraging news, ordered my XR on 6/18. Maybe I will hear something soon. I did however order with SOT and half doors, hopefully that doesn't delay it.

Hey KG, still waiting like you, I was at the dealer yesterday but no movement, I've had three planned production dates mid-August, mid-September and Oct. 8th, all of which came and went.... it seems to be very slow on the production side, sales manager said there was a plant shut down (for 3 -4 weeks), as he is waiting on a few other vehicles but don't know how true this is...

we've been waiting 4 months so far and very little movement, I've since ordered another new Rubicon for my son (we wanted XR and it went through), got VIN in one day but not scheduled yet so both are pending production....

I'll be pissed if his comes in before mine

Thanks for the update. Nothing on my side yet. It is just scheduled. Looks like there was no production for 392 on September(At lease nothing that I know of). There were some production on the week of Aug 20th, so I am hoping it will be some in the week of October 20th or so..
