I saw on my build sheet a couple of interesting items that I’m thinking might be updates for MY2022
1. the speed governor is 97mph, wasn’t this 99mph in 2021?
2. saw active noise cancellation on the optional equipment list; I didn’t order this or see it as an option, so is this something included now?

Interesting.

"active noise control system" and "97 mph vehicle max speed calibration" are both listed on my 21 build sheet at cryptosickers

Did either of you take delivery yet? Is there actually an active noise cancellation feature? I don't really care if it has it or not, (I was surprised how much quieter the JL I test drove was than my old JK!) but it's very interesting to me and I can't really imagine how they'd set that up with the Sky Onetouch I ordered.

Only thing I have heard is the start up "splash screen" shows 392 on it.

IIRC, active noise cancellation is actually through the radio so it doesn't have anything to do with skytouch or actual insulation. It is a subtle background noise that cancels out the surrounding noise like on headphones.

If it’s like other Jeep

if it’s like other Jeep products (Grand Cherokee, etc) it is just an electronic module that has a microphone in the cab. It listens and then produces the exact opposite polarity sound, through the stereo speakers, thus canceling out the noise. In the 2019 GC I owned, couldn’t really tell a difference.

Most applications I'm familiar with use at least 4 microphones mounted in the roof to record the ambient noise and generate sounds equivalent to the sine waves recorded; with the variety of available roofing configurations in the Wrangler it makes me wonder if this is actually something they're installing or if it's simply generic text included on the build sheets. I remember the one in a Honda Crosstour was very effective, and another in a Grand Cherokee that made no discernible difference.

My Jeep Grand Cherokee summit has this active noise cancellation feature and I don’t think it really helps much especially on highway. The 392 I ordered has no headliners so they either put the microphones somewhere else or there’s no such thing at all.

I ordered Oct 16 and still at the factory.
