Hey all, just wanted to drop by and introduce myself!

I'm located on the northern end of the Denver Metro, interested in hearing about any jeep groups up around my neck of the woods. I plan on actually using my 392, both as a daily driver, for camping, and moderate off-roading (trails like Middle St. Vrain, for those familiar) here in the Rockies.

Currently driving a 2014 JKUR (billet silver) and a 2019 Challenger R/T Scat Pack Widebody (destroyer gray), both manual. When I first heard about the 392 Wrangler, I loved the idea of it. Taking all the things I love about my JK (utility & capability) and the Challenger (392 & speeeeed), and smushing them together? Awesome! But, I gotta admit the thought of shelling out over $75k for a wrangler was an immediate turn off, haha. That being said, I slowly but surely began to convince myself it was worth it. The breaking point came when I started pricing out superchargers and V8 swaps to help out the JK's... uninspired powertrain, along with finding out about 4.56 gearing from the factory with the XR package.

I placed my order Nov. 26th 2021, and am currently in "D" status. Was fairly conservative on my options (XR aside):

2022 Wrangler 392
Sting Gray
Hardtop Headliner
Front Trailcam
Gorilla Glass Windshield
Trail Rail Cargo System
Xtreme Recon Package

Hoping to take delivery by early March, but we'll see what this year's supply chain has in store for me!
Pics of current rides attached for anyone that's interested.

CONGRATULATIONS!
I ordered 11/3 and am in “C status”... no idea if that’s good or bad, but still excited, although not quite as excited as I was 2 months ago. I guess I’m an immediate gratification kinda guy.

That’s a carbon copy of my order. Nice taste 👍

Appreciate the welcome gents! Small update here, still in D status as of today, however I've received both a VIN and VON from the dealer. Baby steps!

I ordered 11/3 and am in “C status”
Unfortunately Ortho… C could be an indicator your dealer currently is out of “allocations” … for now.
C is a “tentative“ order that hasn’t been accepted as a build. I’ve seen D’s (including my own ‘21 order) slip back to C then get cancelled. Hopefully, since it’s a ‘22 you’ll be good…. It just may be a long, long wait.

LoL... that’d be my luck.🤦🏻‍♂️🤦🏻‍♂️

Where do you find out if you are in C or D status? I've had a VIN assigned since 11/1/21 and zero progress that I can see. Dealer initially said to expect it early March '22, but IDK at this point.....

I got my Vin on 11/3
I called the dealership on 1/7 to check status and was told by them I was “in C status which is a tentative schedule”. 🤷🏻‍♂️
They didn’t say when I was advanced to C status or how long I had been there or could expect to be moved up in status.

Call the dealer and ask for an update. Given the state of the global supply chain, I'm settled in for a 6mo wait at least, but at least I'll be pleasantly surprised if it comes earlier than that.

I’m beginning to wonder if these are hand assembled by three guys, 2 of which have carpal tunnel syndrome...
The wait goes on...🥺🥺👊🏼
