My first reaction when I saw the selling price was why didn’t I order two and just sell one?
That was my plan... Stlll waiting on #2. lol.

I think people have truly gone nutso in the past couple of years. Don't get me wrong, I love love love my 392 but to pay that kinda scratch over sticker for a vehicle is absurd. "Idiocracy" is playing out in real life!!!

Meanwhile I was at my RAM dealer this morning and they were talking about how they've fielded a flood of inquiries from people selling their trucks to get into something more fuel efficient.

In the last week they've had 3 people walk away from their TRX orders.

Which dealer? I'd love a TRX - if they have a White one en route, I may have to make a trip down to NashVegas!

I've got a L2 Granite on order with Granger, I'm goin all Rick Astley on that bitch though...

The selling dealer of my 392 told me that back in 2008 many people traded in their cars and trucks and a few months later many of them regretted.

Funny, I was just thinking that same thing. I had a friend in the auto sales business and he kept referring to SUVs as “anchors”, meaning it was impossible to move them. Of course things changed thankfully.

Franklin CDJR. Good luck. For every person bailing on their order there are at least 3 waiting to pick one up…so of course the dealer is charging markups (Which I don’t like) and thrilled that buyers are walking.

One of the reasons I am not dumping mine. This economic phase will pass. Biden and dems will capitulate and be voted out.

It will pass. I don’t think it has as much to do with politics as it does with the oil companies trying to make up for lost revenues during COVID, but “tomato tomahto”. I’ll just be glad when the current gas price insanity corrects. In the meantime, be well my friend and drive it like you stole it.

Agree. The war in Ukraine doesn't help either.

In that case, never mind. I've never liked that dealer anyway. Of course ownership might have changed hands since I lived down there. I'm not in need of another truck, and I'm not paying over sticker for anything, so they can sell to someone else. I assume that's where a buddy of mine picked his up, but I don't know for sure.

Unfortunately the war in Ukraine has very little to do with gas and inflation. It's the terrible waste of over 6 trillion dollars not to mention this administrations war on fossil fuels. These idiots can not get voted out fast enough!

Is the current administration generally doing a shitty job? yes. But in a global fuel economy, it's hard for something as big as a war abroad to not affect energy across the globe. I agree all this money being thrown at it (Ukraine war) is a bit obnoxious. I've heard of Zelensky bitching about how the US isn't helping enough, but I'm not sure I've ever heard him thank us for the help we're providing. Not saying he hasn't, but I haven't heard of it.

Anyway, I've gotten way OT, sorry.

Personally...The last place I would look for facts is NPR. Just saying:ROFLMAO: But we can agree to disagree(y)

I know NPR is typically pegged as a 'liberal source' but they're really not biased that much and tend to be one of the better sources for straight up "This is what happened and that's it" during their actual news reports. A study was done on this sort of thing with these results:

The thing on that article that makes me laugh is Fox news is down in the same category as National Enquirer on the graph. Inquiring minds want to know....and CNN is around the 'Tyranny' area of the other graph. :ROFLMAO: I try to stay away from politics as much as possible anyway, so it's all good. Proud independent and always will be....I don't pledge any allegiance to any groups of these so called politicians/law makers.(y)
