That was my plan... Stlll waiting on #2. lol.My first reaction when I saw the selling price was why didn’t I order two and just sell one?
Which dealer? I'd love a TRX - if they have a White one en route, I may have to make a trip down to NashVegas!Meanwhile I was at my RAM dealer this morning and they were talking about how they've fielded a flood of inquiries from people selling their trucks to get into something more fuel efficient.
In the last week they've had 3 people walk away from their TRX orders.
The selling dealer of my 392 told me that back in 2008 many people traded in their cars and trucks and a few months later many of them regretted.Meanwhile I was at my RAM dealer this morning and they were talking about how they've fielded a flood of inquiries from people selling their trucks to get into something more fuel efficient.

Funny, I was just thinking that same thing. I had a friend in the auto sales business and he kept referring to SUVs as “anchors”, meaning it was impossible to move them. Of course things changed thankfully. The selling dealer of my 392 told me that back in 2008 many people traded in their cars and trucks and a few months later many of them regretted.
Franklin CDJR. Good luck. For every person bailing on their order there are at least 3 waiting to pick one up…so of course the dealer is charging markups (Which I don’t like) and thrilled that buyers are walking.Which dealer? One of the reasons I am not dumping mine. This economic phase will pass. Biden and dems will capitulate and be voted out.The selling dealer of my 392 told me that back in 2008 many people traded in their cars and trucks and a few months later many of them regretted.
It will pass. I don’t think it has as much to do with politics as it does with the oil companies trying to make up for lost revenues during COVID, but “tomato tomahto”. I’ll just be glad when the current gas price insanity corrects. In the meantime, be well my friend and drive it like you stole it.One of the reasons I am not dumping mine. Agree. The war in Ukraine doesn't help either. It will pass. In that case, never mind. I've never liked that dealer anyway. Of course ownership might have changed hands since I lived down there. I'm not in need of another truck, and I'm not paying over sticker for anything, so they can sell to someone else. I assume that's where a buddy of mine picked his up, but I don't know for sure.Franklin CDJR. Good luck. Unfortunately the war in Ukraine has very little to do with gas and inflation. It's the terrible waste of over 6 trillion dollars not to mention this administrations war on fossil fuels. These idiots can not get voted out fast enough!Agree. The war in Ukraine doesn't help either.
Personally...The last place I would look for facts is NPR. Just saying But we can agree to disagreeThe ripple effects of Russia's war in Ukraine are changing the world
Stores running out of cooking oil. Gas prices soaring. Farmers scrambling for fertilizer. Nations rethinking alliances. We zoom in on the war's seismic, far-reaching repercussions.www.npr.org
Is the current administration generally doing a shitty job? yes. But in a global fuel economy, it's hard for something as big as a war abroad to not affect energy across the globe. I agree all this money being thrown at it (Ukraine war) is a bit obnoxious. I've heard of Zelensky bitching about how the US isn't helping enough, but I'm not sure I've ever heard him thank us for the help we're providing. Not saying he hasn't, but I haven't heard of it.
Anyway, I've gotten way OT, sorry.
