Looks like because he bought a new Recon. I've almost got that many miles on mine and I haven't had it a month. I like driving it A LOT.Why you selling it ?
recon production just ended, 8yr 125k warranty is worth a lot of money and my Jeep has 10k in extras, it sold in an hour. Not be a douche, but I just can't see how anyone is buying used 2021 for $87K. I have a 2022 XR all loaded up that is in build status right now and getting 10% off of the MSRP. Just can't justify that price for a 2021 thats not even an XR. To each his own.
My dealer yesterday quoted the 8 year/125K mile warranty for $2,6XX. Think that was the price with the $100 deductible. I believe that a salesperson named Tom at a MI based dealership was selling this same option for around $1.8K so I am going to shop around. How much was the 8yr Mopar warranty?
Ditto! I paid that for my extended warranty last week...8yr/125K.$1800 is pretty reasonable. Assuming that’s bumper to bumper.
The dealer (finance person) gave me the option to get it now or later. He said the price "might" go up later on, but he was selling so I get it. I decided to get the warranty when I bought the 392...and, yes...it is a MOPAR warranty.Do you have to add it earlier to get that price or just before the standard new car one expires? Also this is directly from Mopar?
You have probably learned by now that your statement that its not even an XR seems kind of silly since so many guys that were drinking the kool aid didnt really understand what a 100:1 transfer case and a 4.56 gear does to a daily driver. now if that daily driver is owned by a guy that does a highway commute I bet my 87 with the extended and the pedal commander, the taser, the 20's, amp XL's, the debagging of all the gold, the hood lift, rear seat mod and the list goes on had value to people that know Jeeps. Not be a douche, but I just can't see how anyone is buying used 2021 for $87K. After 12,000 or first year a $500 premium is added, if you are gonna buy do it now. More hoops to jum through later and if a chronic problem is discovered there is no protection from the warranty price going up.The dealer (finance person) gave me the option to get it now or later.
