Lots of stupid money out there. Begs the question, what are these Jeeps going to be worth in 5 years?

Go look at autotrader on the Jeep Grand Cherokee Trackhawk. Mark ups to $130k. Used 2018 with over 50k miles going for $80k or more. Insane. A used 2018 bought 2 years ago could be sold for more than you paid for it, even after you drove it for 50k miles...... If I'd only known then.

Our beasts should have good resale value, but I don't know what I would want in place of this. Only thing I can think of right off is if they do put a Hellcat engine in it...... I do love me some blower whine but the power would be beyond ridiculous.

I dont think 392s will depreciate much at all unless it has been overly modified. There arent any of them and jeeps already have the least depreciation of pretty much any mass market car.

V8s are dying. Id be surprised if the 392 makes it past 2023. The 392 will be like the old defenders. A sought after vehicle that retains it value.

I decided to pony up for it because in 5 years i bet you could still sell it for 50k plus.
