I'm still on the hunt for wheels and found the perfect style I've been searching for.

However, for a 5x127 bolt pattern I can only order a set that are:

20x9 With a -18 Offset and 4.290 Backspacing

I'll be wrapping these in 37x12.5's

I'm not familiar with offsets and backspacing though to know if this setup will work well on our 392s.

Any experts have any expert opinions?

Thanks so much!

Chris

I’d like to have an aggressive stance.

Just not a lowrider stance 😂

I already answered this question for you. Let me find the PM from the guy on here that has that exact scenario and you can read how he referred to his own vehicle and the way it now looks.

If you don't believe me, maybe you will believe him.

I accidentally cleared out my DMs and lost the one we had.

I've been hunting all over the Internet to try and find someone with a JL that has:

20x9 With a -18 Offset and 4.290 Backspacing

And no luck.

I want the aggressive stance with 1" - 2" (Max) exposure beyond the fenders.

I just don't know enough about offset and backspacing to know if:

20x9 With a -18 Offset and 4.290 Backspacing

Will give me that?

Or will it look like a joke?

Anyone here know?

These are 20x10 -18 offset Fuel rebel. 37x13.5 Nitto Trail Grapplers. I’m not sure about the back spacing but you can find charts on these wheels that have that info. Upgraded to fox stabilizer but nothing else to suspension yet. The winch dropped the front almost an inch and still no rubbing. Haven’t flexed it yet.

Here is a Fuel Rebel 20x9 0 offset with Mickey 37x12.50's

you would be between his and mine.

the farther you go out the higher you have to go or you get that look you don't want.

Thank you Smess!

So these:

20x9 With a -18 Offset and 4.290 Backspacing

Would poke out between both yours and Bens... no further, correct?

Just want to make sure before I drop $4k+.

Also Smess... what made you go with 12.5's instead of 13.5's?

Thank you!! What made you go with 12.5 instead of 13.5?

I choose the 12.50's just to keep wheel mass down a little, and I figured it's a hair less stressful on components, probably negligible, also wheel width. I also think they look great! If I make the jump to 40's in the future, I'll probably go to 13.50

Great looking Jeep with the bronze accents that compliment the Bronze Star license plate. As a fellow Veteran, I Salute YOU for your service.

I appreciate the comment…I got it on my second tour in Afghanistan, after 2 in Iraq. I’m not in a good place right now with all the BS and poor leadership happening right now. I’m certain you feel the same way. I’m a Colonel in the reserves now. 11 years active and 11 years reserve.
Back to my Jeep… I’ll be honest, the bronze was almost a deal breaker for me. Have never been a fan of it. I agonized if I was gonna black it out or own the bronze, I’m glad I stuck with it, these are very unique Jeeps and lots of people around where I live are starting to notice. I live near The Woodlands,Tx where bad ass jeeps with Hemi swaps are a dime a dozen so to get a rise out of someone complimenting your Jeep is flattering. People come up to me everyday I’m in it and either want to hear it start or just take pictures of it. I can’t help but make it roar when I leave those parking lots. Thank you for your service.

Whoooa! I'm there with you Brother.... However, I removed all of my intended response as I don't think it is appropriate for this forum.

I can't find the rebels on there site with the -18? Did they change what the offset is on those wheel?

It may be a supply issue. I got these back in May and they came from a couple of different supply houses. Not all the sites had them listed if they weren’t available.

Someone else had asked me about them a couple months ago, I went to my tire shop and we verified them. Must not be.

I have them with 0 or 1, thats what you want, the -18 is a JK wheel

want me to post a pic, you wanna see how much they stick out?

BenLandry has the others so you can see both in same thread
