If only Punkin' or Sunset Orange (from 2015) was avail with the black int, I'd prob be persuaded to get rid of my '22. But it's paid for with 12K+ more into it, so I guess it's not in the cards.
This 1000%. Choose your crowd depending on your activities.
Similar to others, I busted my azz for many years (still do & about to turn 50) and have been lucky to make good professional choices. My wife & choose not to have any kids, but we do live in a pretty high-end neighborhood and enjoy...
If it were a known fact that the 392's handled a blower with zero issues (like say the LS's & LSX's back in the day), I'd literally order one tomorrow for the sweet sound alone. But as been stated already, there's just a stigma about these things going BOOM, and i'm not ready to do that to my...
Lol...but seriously. They are kindof everywhere now dude...do you even moto? Jeeps, sports cars, bikes...kids that are 22 are even running them. I was born in the 70's as an 80's kid, and the "Fall Guy" truck was my fav.
I run the Cooper STT Pro's on mine (35's), and they've been perfect for the 11K miles I have on the rig. Can't comment on the snow yet, but they've been surprisingly great in the rain. I also dig the fact that I can have the "white letters out" option!
It may've been discussed here already, but the correct screen needs to be displayed to see the "4CYL" light when the MDS kicks in- if it does. You'd have no other way of knowing unless you're listening. my '22 definitely kicks into MDS when in Off-road+.
I don't remember exactly how I did it, but I know I ended up doing was purchasing the separate Rigid wire harness to make the job easier. And yes, I scrapped part of the harness that went to switches and just connected to factory Aux. I have 4 Rigid cubes & used 2 of the Aux switches.
Curious to know how many folks hate these seats. I personally LOVE the contrast, and would've ordered the red/black in a second if the option was available when I ordered my '22. Possible trades for some perfect 6Kmi '22 black seats?? Rears have been used once...no kids or animals have been...
I tapped into the parking light wire on the right fender. You have to pull back the inner fender liner to access it, and I don't remember which wire it is- but there are only a couple (signal wire, daytime running light, etc.). So mine come on whenever my lights come on- as does the ambient...
Ordered my '22 from them as well and had a great "no surprises" experience. I'm lucky in that they are only 20min away from me, so I take it there for any services needed as well- so far so good. I agree that that the processing fee is a bit steeper than some, but (excuse or not) I will say...
I'm in DC a few times a week, and many of the parking garages there are just over 6' in height. My old JKU with 35's & 3-1/2" MetalCloak lift *barely* fit in most, and wouldn't fit in others. My 392 with stock height & 35's seems a *tiny* bit lower, but I still hate the garages there, and the...
I have a '22 (non-XR) 392 with aftermarket wheels & 35's and am averaging 12.0 mpg with about 80% suburb/20% highway driving. My buddy has a '21 3.6 Rubi with 35's and gets 12.1...and my last 3.6 Rubi (35's as well) averaged about 13 & change. For me the 392 was a no-brainer and the gas...
