Again, the Tazer interfaces with the BCM. If the dealership flashes an update, in most cases you will need to redo your Tazer setup.
As for security features, there are some really slick updates coming for the Tazer that will enhance the security features that are truly game changing. Jeep JL...
All mumble jumble to me....lol
Kidding aside, anyone that knows how to hack your CanBus can do it with or without a Tazer plugged in. Also, the Tazer does nothing to the PCM (Power Control Module). It is actually the BCM (Body Control Module) that it communicates with.

I actually used to race against the owner of the shop that makes that mount. Looks like a great mounting solution. I'm sure they will do well with it.

Agree with you 100%. The video simply shows one way to mount it. The idea is for the end user to "hide" it in a place of their choosing and not have it mounted in the same place as everyone else. Tucked up as high as you can put it out of plain view and if they do find it, they still have to...

It only took me 3 days to get the coupon to work properly. Least I can do is get your order processed asap! 😂

I will post a video later this evening of how someone mounted it in a JL. Keep in mind, the idea behind the deterrent is to make it difficult to locate so it's best if the end user chooses where to mount.
Bill
It's all metal.
As for mounting locations, there are quite a few good ideas however it is best left to the end user as the idea behind the deterrent is to not be easy to locate and disassemble.
I will post a video of how someone chose to mount in a JL later this evening.
Thank you,
Bill
