My transfer case grenaded after wheeling for the very first time. Pavement Princess here on out.

No problems yet after seeing pavement. I’m honestly leery wheeling her again. Light came on after her maiden voyage to Moab. First time using 4H part time and 4L. Will likely just wheel these two and pavement princess the 392.

That’s an awesome turnaround. Mine sat for 43 days waiting on a new transfer case.

Finally got mine back after 43 days at the dealer. Original transfer case ordered was supposedly lost in shipment.

Did you get any resolution after throwing codes?

Dealer ordered a new transfer case for mine. Supposed to arrive Friday.

Steering was heavy when turning at very slow speeds. I’m guessing the clutch packs? Started after wheeling after a few days.

Koons will make it right. Toledo forgot my all weather floor mats.

Light returned. Funky when turning slow. Off to the dealer.

Thank you for all this information. 3800 miles and had just gone wheeling for the first time when I got the light. I had pressed down my fuses when I picked up my Jeep. However, most of them were loose this time. Guess I’ll add this to my 5K maintenance checklist.

You’ll be fine running stock on Fins & Things and Hell’s Revenge (avoiding the optional obstacles). They’re right next to each other and took us a leisurely six hours. I let my adult kids with zero wheeling experience run both trails. No worse for wear.

No longer a pavement princess! Nothing crazy. Just Fins & Things and Hell’s Revenge. Compared to wheeling my other JLs… torque made up for the 2.72 4L but the steering was much heavier.

And it plays incredibly well with the copper 392 accents. Combo makes it look tougher / more masculine imo.
