AAL inner fender liners for 392

My inner fender liner on passenger side were destroyed pretty much day 1. So I am about to pull the trigger on the AAL. Anyone have installed these on the 392? Any issues? only ones in stock are matte black. Any opinions on that color with Hydro Blue?

Had them on the rear, lasted 1 day. got hooked on the Currie Anti Rocks I had installed with the stock liners with no problems. Called to see if they would help with replacements, they said if non stock equipment was installed it would be a cold day in ........ before they would do anything.

Wow I heard they had good customer service. Too bad. Other suggestions? I need something for the front since mine are flopping around.

I have them all the way around in satin black. No issues. I don’t rock crawl it but do off road it some and I drive it like a race car.

There is a You Tube video showing an install of AAL fender liners on the front wheel wells of a 392. Just FYI.

Only thing I am on the fence about is losing the outer edge fender flare or whatever it might be called and the liner right inside the fender. I like having metal protecting the engine compartment etc tho.

Do you see rock chips right on the edge?

Depending on what size tire you run when you highline the fenders you can keep the outer trim piece with the rivets.

I did a complete fender chop using AAL high line fender bracket with light so I used all of there retention hardware all in black. Their system is pretty straightforward.

You need the diesel kit for the front btw, from any manufacture

No rock chip on the edge, still looks totally clean after 3 months, mostly on the road and mud. 37x13.5 Nitto MTs. I do have a couple small chips on one of rear fenders but none on the edges yet.

Tried to get a couple of close ups. The underneath of the fenders are black. One you trim the tabs the edges look great. I think the fender chop is a decent alternative to high line fenders in the short term. They will be ripped off at some point. You do lose some stability of the front fenders, that’s what the bracket is for. Instead of putting a bolt through the front fender to the bracket I used 3M tape. I wasn’t decided on fenders yet. It took me 3 years to decide on fenders for my JK.
