Which is the best tailgate table?

Hi all,

Anyone happy with their tailgate table? Which one did you get?
I had a tailgate table in my jk, but it would rattle while off-roading - drove me nuts!

I like the look of adventure lab one, though not sure how secure it will be.

I'm debating between Outback Adventures Trailgater and Goose Gear. Probably will go with Trailgater as the board seems to be longer while extended, plus Goose puts like fifteen logos all over it.

I have the Versatable in black with bamboo surface. I don’t have the electronics cut outs, but I do have the light, which really sets this table apart and which I use quite often.

I’ve been happy with the AAL table. Doesn’t have a slide out like the others if that’s a need for you.

The Outback adventure table was $359 or similar back in 2021 or early 2022 when I looked. Just can’t justify so I still don’t have one.

At least for the AAL stuff, it’s made well, and made in the USA In a small shop. personally, I feel it’s worth every penny.

I have the outback adventure table. Like all the good ones its overpriced but I do really like it. I wish they would have done a simpler version without the cutting board. It could be cheaper and lighter also.

I had the Goose Gear in my last JL and loved it. Zero rattles. I would buy another for the 392 but I don’t think my fridge slide would clear it.

I installed the Mopar tailgate table. I like it, simple and functional. I did wrap inclosure fastener hooks with Tesa tape to eliminate minor rattle noise, from fastener. No noise at all now.

Happy I'm not the only one that hates rattling. I'm trying so hard to get over it, because I know in 5 years, this 392 will rattle constantly.

I too cannot stand rattling. I have a rattle developing in my front passenger door area that's going to be the death of me. FWIW, The AAL Versatable does not rattle at all. You can adjust the depth of the threaded post with the ball at its end to snug it in to your liking.

Yes thanks very much for posting the pics guys!
I like the light idea, but white light would attract bugs. I think a good small red LED light strip from Oreilley's auto parts would be the way to go. They are flexible, small, good light, bright and the strip comes with 3m tape. It would work like a champ. They work good, especially when the third brake light out and on back order last year, for my Gladiator.

I went to Oreilley's and picked up a 10 LED red light strip. It taped across the factory LED in the tailgate, wired to the connector under the tailgate, and voila. I passed Virginia state inspection, no issues. Then two months later when the real LED third brake light shows up, I peel mine off and the dealer replaces the brake light under warrenty.

I still have the red LED strip here on my printer for ambiance, LOL . They are only like $15 bucks, you could get two if you need brighter.
Yeah I may do that if I get the fold table.
