Thanks for the link, I had previously read that thread but it is talking about the 8221516AB.

The 8221516AB has been replaced with the 8221516AC. Not sure if there is really any difference but it has been replaced.

Anybody with the 8221516AC rock rails installed here?

Mopar changes part numbers all of the time and it’s the same item. As long as it shows it as the replacement part number listed on the mopar site it’ll fit.

Cool, Thanks man.

Cool, Thanks man.
Also if you ever need help tracking down, confirming or identifying a part; reach out to @alienhead on the ram-trx forum. He’s very active over there and is a parts dept guy at a CDJR dealer in Idaho.

Excellent. Thank you!

Too bad you’re in OKC, I have a pair that I just took off my 392. If you’re interested, PM me.

When you had the mounted could you use them as a step into the Jeep?

So what did you replace them with? And/or why did you take them off? Did you ever actually use them as rock sliders?
I have a JK built for rock crawling with the best stuff. My 392 is really a DD and sales vehicle. I need to add a step but I an having a really hard time downgrading just in case I need it. My husband likes the Mopar but for $1000 I am leaning more towards LOD or Metal Cloak.
(Sorry OP- don't mean to hijack your thread!)

I sold it. They’re more stout than stock, but I would prefer the LOD for hardcore rock crawling. They are nice though, with a textured coating which makes ingress/egress much easier.

Damn. Yes, I would definitely take them from you if I didn't have to drive to Arizona. Currently they are on backorder.

I ordered these on 3/22 they are out for delivery today. Cheapest I found even with shipping. I like the look of clean lines and not drop or built in actual step. I decided to try these for the wife but still researching AMP, RSE or actual rock sliders. Plus figured these would help prevent door dings

If you want to PM me your zip, I can get a shipping quote and see if we can work something out. Or else, this is a beautiful time in the valley for open air wheeling and would be worth the drive👍🏻

Sorry, just saw this. I had already placed an order for them but like I said, they are on back order. Gonna see if I can cancel my order then reach out if I'm successful. Thanks.
