As I have said in the past, buy what makes sense to you and makes you smile in the garage. If a Pumpkin 392 ventured into my life, it would most likely end up sitting next to the 2 door. Just because I like orange!
Exactly. I just have this thing about 4 door jeeps. Nothing wrong with the concept, but old school when it comes to Wranglers. I have a Tahoe Z71 if I need 4 doors. Just me and my oddities I fear.
The owner of Douglas machine has quite a mopar collection. His garage is huge. I rarely wander off road since I sold my 300 acre farm. The 2 door wrangler will be my daily during the summer. Might see if Andy can get me a final edition just for the giggles.
Not sure what you are referring too. I have purchased a number of vehicles from the dealership including 2 392's. Found I enjoyed the 2 door more so have that currently in the garage, but would pick up a 23 Pumpkin 392 if I could find one. Anyway, small world indeed. Enjoy your beast!
Face it, for 90% of the folks, including myself, the TRX, 392, Demon, Z06, ect are just toys. A regular truck does truck stuff better, a 2 door Wrangler does Jeep stuff just fine. But hey, life is short, buy what makes you smile!
That is exactly my thoughts also. Fun when the supercharger was whining. Clumsy and mundane when not. And in the real world not all that fast compared to what's running on the street. But it did sound nice!
Yeah, that works unless you have long legs, big feet, and you can't get your bloody feet out of the way to swing your legs over the sill! Don't ask me how I know....
Frankly, for me, at 6'4" 235 with wide shoulders, getting in and out of the beast is a video moment. So much so that it may not be in the stable long term. But sure makes cool garage art!
